(Engineering Daily) Nguyen Anh Duong = The project to build a continuous wind power plant in Vietnam is being pushed forward.
According to local sources in Vietnam, PNG AG of Germany will begin a feasibility study on the construction of an offshore wind farm.
The project is to invest about $1.5 billion to build offshore wind power plants in the Phu Cat and Phu My areas.
Currently, the Vietnamese government aims to develop 30 GW-class power generation through renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power generation from next year to 2030.
As soon as the feasibility study, which runs for about a year, is completed, follow-up measures, including approval from the Vietnamese government, are expected to speed up.
