Hanoi, September 5 (Engineering Daily) -- South Binh Bridge Project will be the first three-tier traffic of Hai Phong city.
Hai Phong City People's Committee has just started construction investment project of Nam Binh Bridge intersection at So Dau ward, Hong Bang district, with a total investment of VND 1,483 billion.
This is the first traffic project in Hai Phong designed to be a three-storey intersection, including: tunnel, road and overpass.
The tunnel connects Bach Dang road through the railway to Hong Bang Street, 190 m long, 15 m wide; The road is upgraded from existing roads, including Hong Bang road up to 50.5 m and Bach Dang road up to 45.5 m wide; The overpass crosses from the Binh Bridge crossing Hong Bang Road to the Re River (An Duong District) with many branches up and down.
The Transport Department is assigned by the city as the project owner and the construction period is 18 months.
