Chinese, South Korean steel is levied anti-dumping by Viet Nam

(Engineering daily) Nguyen Anh Duong = The Ministry of Industry and Trade said that the tariffs will last 120 days starting June 25, at 3.45-34.27% for Chinese color-coated steel sheets and 1.48-19.25% for the South Korean color-coated steel sheets. 

The tax rate varies depending on the producers.

Temporary anti-dumping tariffs will be levied on color-coated steel sheets from 20 Chinese and three South Korean firms.

The investigation was launched following a petition from local producers asking authorities to apply anti-dumping measures.

After the temporary period of 120 days, the trade ministry will decide, in October, whether to continue imposing the anti-dumping tariffs on the color-coated sheets produced by the Chinese and South Korean firms.
