(Engineering Daily) Nguyen Anh Duong = The Vietnam Wind Turbine Giza project is being investigated by the U.S.

The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), the U.S. Department of Commerce, said Tuesday that it is investigating anti-dumping duties and countervailing duties on Vietnamese wind power generators.

The survey will be conducted on products exported to the U.S. last year alone, which will determine whether to impose sanctions by calculating the amount of damage suffered by U.S.-related companies from 2016 to 2018.

Currently, products from Vietnam are suspected to have generated 39.97-65.96 percent profit.

According to the survey, Vietnam-related equipment exported to the U.S. in 2018 is known to be worth $21.4 million.

The U.S. Trade Commission reportedly plans to make a preliminary decision on Aug. 23, and the DOC is expected to conclude its investigation by October and December.
