(Engineering Daily) Nguyen Anh Duong = The construction of a highway linking northern Vietnam is carried out.

According to sources in Vietnam, the construction company Cuu Long CIPM is pushing for the construction of a management highway.

The newly built highway will be linked to the Mekong Delta region and Hanoi, a border area adjacent to Thailand, Cambodia and Laos.

The Cuu Long CIPM plans to invest $1.3 billion to start construction in 2023 and construct 130 bridges, 50 entrances and a highway with a speed limit of 120 ㎞/h over three years on a 155 km section.

Meanwhile, the pace of future financing is expected to be key to the project's progress as the project's costs for the related projects are reportedly to be raised through ODA and private investment.
