Vietnamese Ho Chi Minh Decides to Upgrade Sewage Facilities

(Engineering Daily) Nguyen Anh Duong = Vietnamese Ho Chi Minh is working to improve the old sewage system.

According to sources in Vietnam, the Ministry of Strategy and Finance approved the project to improve Ho Chi Minh's sewage system.

The newly approved project will be worth $200 million, with 2.78㎞ to begin with.

Ho Chi Minh City will receive $17.5 million in funding from Japan's International Cooperation Agency for related projects, with $3.1 million to be carried out in finance.

Ho Chi Minh City expects the life expectancy of sewage to increase for more than 50 years once the related projects are completed.

Meanwhile, the selection of related businesses is expected to be outlined next year as preliminary work, including the selection of operators for related projects, is currently underway.
