Vietnam's Vung Tau Airport Relocation Project Faster

(Engineering Daily) Nguyen Anh Duong = Vietnam's Ba Ria-Vung Tau state on the 21st approved the project to relocate the Vung Tau airport, it said.

The project will be carried out in conjunction with urban development by relocating to Vung Tau Airport, where helicopters are currently heavily used.

As a result, the new airport is expected to serve as a second-class military airport and be available to 100,000 passengers annually.

Ba Ria-Vung Tau is said to be currently mulling the operation of the PPP method with the sale of the airport site as a financing method for related projects, drawing keen attention to future decisions.
