Ho Chi Minh City, requesting approval from the Vietnamese government for the construction of the Metro 3A Line

(Engineering Daily) Nguyen Anh Duong = Vietnam's Hosimin City continues its move to expand its subway business.

According to local sources, Ho Chi Minh City recently asked the Prime Minister's Office to approve a business plan for the construction of a subway line 3A.

The project will connect with Ho Chi Minh Line 1, which is about to be completed, and will have 18 stations built over a total of 20㎞ northeast and southwest of the city.

Ho Chi Minh City plans to complete the project by constructing a 9.9㎞ section from 2025 to 2031, and the remaining sections from 2028 to 2034.
