Vietnamese Tan Son Nhat Airport Terminal Extension Government Approved

(Engineering Daily) Nguyen Anh Duong = Vietnam's Tan Son Nhat Airport is in a hurry to prepare for expansion.

According to local sources, the Vietnamese prime minister's office has approved investment in the construction of Terminal 3 at Tan Son Nhat airport.

The newly built terminal is expected to have a floor space of 100,000㎡ and accommodate 20million people a year.

ACV(The Airports Corporation of Vietnam) invested $472million to start construction in October 2021 and expects completion in 2023.

It also expects to reduce the overload of Terminal 1 after completion.
