(Engineering Daily) Nguyen Anh Duong = A highway construction project will be carried out in southern Vietnam.

According to local sources in Vietnam, Vietnam's Transport Ministry will conduct a feasibility study on a highway construction project linking Can Tho and Ca Maau.

The project is to build a 130-kilometer highway linking the cities of Can Tho and Ca Maau to improve traffic conditions in the Mekong Delta region.

The construction of the new highway is estimated to cost about $2 billion, and in the first section, the government will use state finances and in the second section, the project will be carried out on a private investment basis.

Accordingly, if the related project is carried out normally, it is expected that a highway of 100 kilometers per hour will be built by 2025.
