(Engineering Daily) Nguyen Anh Duong = Da Nang City, a city in central Vietnam, is raising its voice to expand investment for development.

Vietnam's Da Nang city has announced that a total of $2 billion in investment is needed for development from 2021 to 2025.

The projects are aimed at developing SOCs in Da Nang City, which include building new hospitals, relocating and expanding railway stations, improving port logistics facilities and developing green space.

Although Da Nang City is the fourth-largest city in Vietnam, it has been affected by continued growth as its investment fell short.

Accordingly, Da Nang City plans to raise 77 percent of the total investment amount through ODA funds while attracting private investment to improve facilities and improve port accessibility in conjunction with Vietnam's inter-Korean railway project.
