ADB decided to loan $8 million to improve water treatment facilities in southern Vietnam

(Engineering Daily) Nguyen Anh Duong = A project to improve water treatment facilities in southern Vietnam is underway.

According to local sources in Vietnam, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) has decided to provide loans to the project to improve the water treatment facility in southern Vietnam.

A total of $8 million in loans supported by the ADB is said to have finally signed an agreement with the environment and water minister of Binh Duong Province on related matters.

Through related projects, the ADB plans to carry out construction on expanding the capacity of the facility as well as improving the pump facilities and expanding the intake pipe.

Meanwhile, $8 million in loans for the project will be provided by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), a Japanese international cooperation organization, and the Asian Intellectual Cooperation Fund will help provide 500,000 dollars in technical assistance.
