The UK investor has proposed the solar power plant in Quang Ngai

HANOI, AUGUST 8 (Engineering Daily) -- The Quang Ngai province People’s Committee has assigned Department of Planning and Investment to chair and coordinate with Department of Industry and Trade to study and work in detail with UK Kimin Power Ltd, about implementation of solar power plant project; then advise and propose the People’s Committee for review and instruction.

Earlier, Quang Ngai People’s Committee had issued the approval in principle to allow Kimin Power Ltd., to study and prepare a feasibility study report for solar power plant project with capacity of 150MW in the land area of 250ha, Pho An Commune, Duc Pho District.

Along with Kimin Power Ltd, other foreign Terra Wood Company has proposed the Quang Ngai province People’s Committee allowing site survey to invest and build a wind farm and solar power plant with capacity of 300MW. The total investment of 2 plants is of about USD 400 million.
