Workshop to provide the winning opportunities in WB and ADB funded projects

HANOI, March 6 (Engineering Daily) --On March 15, in Hanoi, the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the World Bank (WB) and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) will co-host the workshop "To win bidding in projects funded by the ADB and the WB".

According to ADB, the workshop is designed to introduce to enterprises in Vietnam business opportunities in projects financed by the two banks, providing updated bidding regulations of the banks, the Government's online bidding system and how to prepare a valid bid.

According to information published on the WB website, this financial institution has sponsored dozens of projects in Vietnam each year. Of which, there are 15 projects in 2017; 13 in 2016; 7 in 2015 and 12 in 2014. It is estimated that WB will grant Vietnam USD 4 billion (including IDA and IBRD funds) in the period of 2018-2020.

Earlier, in 2014, the same seminar was held and attracted a large number of interested parties and business community participants.
