Vietnam, First Advance of Infrastructure Project in Indonesia

Hanoi, October 16 (Engineering Daily) -- At Bali of Indonesia on 12th of this month, Nikko Sekuritas Indonesia and Licogi 16 JSC of Vietnam officially signed of implementing and investing in three infrastructure projects.

The total investment of the three infrastructure projects come up to 300 million US dollars.

Nikko Sekuritas Indonesia, one of the biggest investment banking firms in Indonesia and the Vietnamese construction company Licogi 16 JSC of Vietnam will cooperate to construct two projects in Indonesia. They are a 50 million US dollar worth of financial tower in Jakarta and a 6.7km highway which costs 200 million US dollars. At the same time, Nikko will invest 50 million US dollars into Licogi 16's 50MW solar energy project in central Vietnam. All the three projects are to be started in the early 2019.

The signing has an importance in that this is the first time a Vietnamese enterprise has conducted an infrastructure project in the neighboring country.
