Seoul City, Participates in Song Hong City Project

Hanoi, December 31 (Engineering Daily) -- The Hanoi People's Committee has announced the Song Hong City project will be implemented in cooperation with Seoul, Korea and Vietnam.

Initially, Singaporean engineering corporation Antara Koh Development (V) Pte.,Ltd  planned to implement the Song Hong City project in 1994.  It had drawn USD13.05 million in total through investment capital. But the project had to stop because of disagreement on water management.

Now the implementation baton is tossed to Korea government. The Planning and Architecture Department of Seoul will provide technical assistance to the project.

The Song Hong City project will cover 4,200 hectares of land and water surface stretching 40km of Red River across Hanoi region. The estimated investment capital is USD7 billion.
