(Engineering Daily) Nguyen Anh Duong = According to local sources, the second phase of solar power construction in the Vietnamese city of Tuy Hoa has begun.
The project is aimed at installing solar power panels with a total capacity of 104 Kwp for use in public lighting in the city.
The project, which began in 2017, is expected to reduce carbon dioxide by 360 tons annually.
Further projects are also expected to continue as the provincial government of Phu Yen is showing a willingness to expand solar power facilities following Da Nang and Hoi An.
On the other hand, the provincial government of Fu Yen reported that investors are inquiring about various renewable energy sectors, including solar, wind and gas power, which are expected to see rapid growth in related areas in the future.
