(Engineering Daily) Nguyen Anh Duong = Wind power projects are expected to accelerate in central Vietnam.
According to local sources in Vietnam, the Quang Tri People's Committee approved the construction of the Phong Lieu wind power plant.
The project calls for building wind power plants in four areas of 16.5 square kilometers -- Huong Linh, Tan Tan Tan and Huong Phung.
The project, which is expected to cost about $215 million, aims to be completed by 2021.
After the completion, the company expects to help expand electricity demand in central Vietnam, which is increasing its industrial weight.
