(Engineering Daily) Nguyen Anh Duong = The Asian Development Bank (ADB) said it has signed a loan contract with Vietnam's Da Nhim – Ham Thuan – Da Mi Hydro Power Junction Stock Company to build a hydropower plant.
The project being pushed by DHD is to build a 175㎿ solar power plant in a reservoir located at the Da Mi hydroelectric power plant, which is expected to be the largest in Vietnam.
DHD is said to have borrowed $37 million from ADB for the project.
Meanwhile, it is predicted that orders for additional related projects could continue in the future as DHD, a subsidiary of Vietnam Electric Power Corp., currently operates water power plants such as Ham Thuan, Da Nhim and Song Pha, in addition to Da Mi hydroelectric power plants.
