According to local sources, the Lang Son People's Committee submitted a plan to the Ministry of Strategy and Finance for the Huu Nghi-Chi Lang highway project.
The Hu Nghi-Chi Lang highway construction project will be the second section of the Bac Giang-Lang Son highway, extending 43㎞.
Currently, the Vietnamese government estimates that the related project will cost about $330.43 million, and it will be carried out as a BOT(build-operate-transfer).
Lang Son plans to raise $43.48 million in provincial budget, $134 million in state budget and $86.96 million in private investment out of $334.43 million in total project costs.
Accordingly, the pace of the project is expected to depend on the timing of the central government's budget execution in the future.
