(Engineering Daily) Nguyen Anh Duong = My Thuan-Can Tho Highway via Mekong Delta is on the verge of construction.
According to local sources in Vietnam, Vietnam's Transport Ministry said it will begin construction of the My Thuan-Can Tho highway project in November.
The project is about a 22.97㎞ section linking the Mekong Delta area among the Tung Luong-My Thuan highway projects currently under construction.
The Vietnamese government says it has now paid compensation to 1,503 households and is in the process of transferring ownership of the sites.
Accordingly, the first phase of the four-lane highway will be completed by 2023, and a six-lane 100㎞/h highway will be opened through further expansion.
