(Engineering Daily) Nguyen Anh Duong = Construction of a large offshore wind farm in central Vietnam has begun to begin.
According to local sources in Vietnam, the German PNE Group is in negotiations with the state of Binh Dinh to build a offshore wind power plant.
The PNE Group's project is a 2GW offshore wind power plant project, with about 154-166 wind generators to be installed.
It is estimated that the project will cost a total of $1.6 billion, and PEN Group plans to conduct a technical investigation from next year and then proceed with the test phase from 2024.
On the other hand, it is expected that the PEN Group will continue to discuss the issues as it proposes to include the relevant projects in the central government of Vietnam in the National Power Development Plan.
