HANOI, May 16 (Engineering Daily) -- The Prime Minister has issued a directive on the construction of a bypass road in the east of Dong Ha City, Quang Tri Province in the form of PPP.
Accordingly, the Prime Minister has allowed in principle to adjust the investment scope of the project of construction of the bypass of National Highway No.1 through Quang Tri Town (item of Thanh Co bridge and approach roadway) to support the province to complete part of the route in the east of the Dong Ha city as the opinion of the Ministry of Transport in Document No. 3908/BGTVT-KHDT dated 13/4/2017.
The Prime Minister has assigned the Ministry of Transport to take responsibility to coordinate with the Quang Tri province People's Committee in adjusting the project strictly according to regulations, ensuring not to increase the total investment capital, not exceeding the government bond capital plan for the period 2014 - 2016 assigned to the project by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1977 / QD-TTg dated 14/10/2016.
In relation to the project, according to the plan of contractor selection for bidding packages under the Project for Construction of bypass route of the National Highway No.1 through Quang Tri Town (item of Thanh Co bridge and approach roadway), Quang Tri province, approved by the Ministry of Transport in 2016, the project has 16 bidding packages; the contractor designation form that has been approved by the Prime Minister in Document No. 77 / VPCP-KTN dated 06/01/2016 of the Government Office shall be applied.
