HANOI, April 2 (Engineering Daily) -- Hanoi People's Committee has proposed the Prime Minister to approve the implementation of Me So Bridge Construction Project and the two approach road (linking the Phap Van - Cau Gie expressway to Ha Noi – Hai Phong expressway) in the form of BOT contract and assign City People's Committee to be an authorized state agency to sign and execute the project contract.
Earlier, the Hanoi People's Committee has received the proposal of Phuong Thanh Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company and Nguyen Minh Infrastructure Investment and Development Joint Stock Company to apply the project in the form of BOT contract; Ask the City People's Committee to approve this BOT project proposal.
The Me So Bridge and two approach roads is the section of the detailed plan of Ring Road 4 that has been approved by the Prime Minister. According to the plan, the project will connect Phap Van - Cau Gie expressway to Ha Noi - Hai Phong expressway in order to divide traffic, reduce means of transport to the inner city, reduce traffic congestion; increase the efficiency of the two expressways, contributing to socio-economic development of the Capital city, Hung Yen and neighboring provinces.
