HANOI, April 9 (Engineering Daily) -- Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung has directed the relevant units to complete the preparation procedures to implement the project to build a highway from Hoa Binh City (Hoa Binh province) to Moc Chau district (Son La province) in the form of PPP.
The goal is to create a completely new route connecting Hanoi with Hoa Binh and Son La provinces, creating favorable conditions for the development of areas along the route, attracting investors and creating a strong move to achieve the goal of socio-economic development. The Ministry of Transport has directed the Transport Engineering Design Inc. (TEDI) to quickly study and complete the pre-feasibility study report to submit to the Prime Minister to approve the investment policy of the project.
The Deputy Prime Minister also proposed Son La Provincial People's Committee to organize the preparation and approval of the functional areas planning of Moc Chau National Park in accordance to its authority on the basis of the master plan approved by the Prime Minister; It is necessary to identify projects in order of priority, to build a mechanism for mobilizing resources from the society for development investment; Prepare enough land fund to implement large infrastructure projects in the form of PPP.
