HANOI, June 25 (Engineering Daily) -- The Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Unit has submitted to the Ministry of Transport for appraisal and approval of the Feasibility Study Report for Nha Trang - Cam Lam expressway project, belonging to the North South expressway in the East, in the form of PPP.
According to the proposal of the consultancy joint venture, Truong Son Consultant Joint Stock Company and TECCO8.,JSC, the first point that is at Km 0 (Km 12+ 700/DDT2) crossing with provincial road No. 2, is also the end point (as planned) of North-South expressway in the east, Quy Nhon - Nha Trang section, Dien Tho commune, Dien Khanh district, Khanh Hoa province; The last point at Km 29, coincides with the starting point of Cam Lam - Vinh Hao Project, Cam Hiep Bac commune, Cam Lam district, Khanh Hoa province.
The project has a length of 29 km, passing through two districts of Dien Khanh and Cam Lam, Khanh Hoa province, which is built on a total of 6 lanes (complete stage), of which phase I is 4 lanes of 17 m width and design speed of 120 km/h. On the route, there will be two interchanges connecting Dien Khanh (Km5 + 783) and Suoi Dau intersection (linking with National Highway No. 1, Provincial Road No. 3).
The total investment of the project is VND 4,059 billion, of which the state budget is VND 3,219 billion and the BOT investment capital is VND 774.5 billion. With the construction cost of about VND 2,203 billion, the average investment rate of the project is about VND 76 billion/km.
With a service price of VND 1,500/km/PCU, the investor can pay back within 23.8 years. The project is expected to start in 2019 and will be completed by 2021.
