Hanoi, September 7 (Engineering Daily) -- The Ministry of Transport (MOT) has issued the document to the Prime Minister to consider and decide on the level of state investment capital participating in the Nghi Son - Dien Chau section project in the form of PPP under Eastern North-South expressway project.
Accordingly, the MOT proposed VND 2,550 billion of the total investment of VND 8.889 trillion to finance the consultancy, technical design, management and site clearance fees, resettlement (VND 1,423 billion) and partial cost of construction to ensure financial feasibility (VND 924 billion). The remaining VND 5,839 billion will be raised by investors (20%) and commercial loans.
The expressway section Nghi Son (Thanh Hoa) - Dien Chau (Nghe An), with a total length of nearly 50 km, is located at Km 380 + 000 and terminates at the intersection with Highway 7 in Dien Cat commune, Dien Chau province. The route is designed with the capacity of 6 lanes. The first phase diverges with 4 lanes and the width of the road is 17 m. It is expected to be built for 3 years (2019 - 2021). The payback period is 21 years and 4 months.
It is notified that in implementing the direction of the Government, the MOT has assigned the Project Management Units and consultancy units to quickly prepare the Feasibility Study report of the component projects.
In particular, of the 11 component projects, up to now the MOT has approved the Feasibility Study Report for the two projects (Cao Bo - Mai Son and Cam Lo - Mai Son), have basically completed to appraise Feasibility Study reports of 6 projects (including sections of Mai Son - National Highway 45, National Highway 45 - Nghi Son, Phan Thiet - Dau Giay, Nghi Son - Dien Chau, Dien Chau - Bai Vot and Nha Trang. - Cam Lam), is evaluating the Feasibility Study report of 2 projects (Cam Lam - Vinh Hao and Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet) and basically completed the Feasibility Study of My Thuan 2 Bridge Project. According to the updated result, the state investment capital for the implementation of 11 component projects is about VND 51,623 billion, not exceeding the State investment capital of VND 55,000 billion approved by Resolution No. 52/2017 / QH14 dated 22/11/2017.
