Hanoi, November 14 (Engineering Daily) -- Long Thanh International Airport have received feasibility study to acquire land for construction.
The airport is to be located in Long Thanh, Don Nai and is designed to cover 5,580 hectares in total and to have two runways and two passenger terminals. After the three phases of construction, the airport is to accommodate 100 million passengers and 5 million tonnes of cargo by a year.
The cost for total construction is $14.76 billion and for the land acquisition is $999.47 million.
Meanwhile, Heerim Architects&Planners Co., Ltd. had been selected to implement the basic design of Long Thanh international airport's terminal in September, 2017.
