HANOI, June 7 (Engineering Daily) -- Fujiwara Solar Wind Power Project has just been granted an Investment Certificate with total registered capital of USD 63.69 million.
This 100% foreign investment project by Japan’s Fujiwara Corporation will be developed in the mountainside of Phuong Mai Mountain in the Nhon Hoi Economic Zone, covering an area of 60 hectares with a capacity of 100 MW and a 50 year operation duration.
According to the investment registration progress, the project will be implemented in this quarter and is expected to be completed and put into production and trading phase 1 (producing 64 MW of solar power) in Quarter 1 of 2019, completed the production and business phase 2 (additional investment of wind power plant with a capacity of 36 MW) in the first quarter of 2020.
When put into operation, the project will create stable job opportunities for more than 100 employees, contributing to stabilizing social security and contributing to local budgets.
It is noticed that in recent years, there have been many domestic and foreign investors coming to Binh Dinh province to explore the potential of developing solar power and wind power. 18 investors registered the projects and 6 projects have been approved by Binh Dinh province to undertake surveys and investment projects.
