(Engineering Daily) Nguyen Anh Duong = The Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), a Vietnamese airport corporation, said the groundbreaking ceremony was underway for the expansion of aircraft maintenance space at Da Nang Airport.
The project will cost about $18.13 million and will be carried out in advance to meet the growing demand for passenger flights in central Vietnam.
ACV plans to complete the related project within 11 months, and expects that the mid- to large-sized aircraft classifications such as B-747, B-777 and A-350 will be easy to proceed.
As a result, Da Nang Airport is expected to handle 28 million tons of cargo annually and 200,000 tons by 2030.
